The Maison is located in the old village of Mae' at 1100 meters of altitude, setted in the marvellous Ayas Valley, that has been called “one of the most beautiful European valley”. It is surrounded by the fascinating Mont Néry and Dame de Challand peaks, further to alpine lakes, sheperd’s hut, pastures and offers an unforgettable view of the Graines ‘ castle ruins. You could choose wheter to explore the southern side of the valley, towards Verrès, walking through chestnut and broad-leaved reaching Villa’s castle ruins, lake and natural falls, or hiking in the northern side through conifers and ancient quartz mines, along medieval irrigation canal and finally reach the Monte Rosa glaciers. For people fond of no kill fishing, there’s the possibility to practise this activity in the Casinò supply, in Evançon stream in Challand Saint Anselme.
